We are coming to the end of June which is the end of my Rotary year.
We had an amazing year! We had more than seven new members join our club. Thank you to Mahesh Nihalani, who introduced us to these amazing individuals! A shout out to our Community Services Chair, Madhu Krishnan, and International Services Chair, Jeetu Lakhotia, for helping us get our community projects and international projects completed in these trying times. And I have to mention our Foundation Chair, Ravi Menon, for exceeding our foundation goal for this year.
A special mention to our club member, Viji Bettadapura, for her generous donations to our club projects. Thanks to Shreya Jani, for helping us with the Afghan Refugee Project. And Amy Menon, our club Secretary, for her support through the year to keep us on track.
I would like to thank you all for your support you have given me through the year.

Thank you to those who have contributed to the Project - Hearing Aids for Seniors(India) back in December 2021. Our goal was to raise $2,000 to donate 150 Hearing Aids for factory workers over the age of 60 with severe hearing issues. Thanks to your generosity, we have met our goal.
The hearing aids were distributed on May 12, 2022. This project was jointly executed by Rotary Club of Thiruvaiyaru (State: Tamil Nadu) and Rotary Club of Karaikal (State: Pondicherry).

"Free Hearing Aid Distribution Project went well on 12/05/2022 at Thiruvaiyaru. Our heartfelt thanks to the President, yourself and other officials of Rotary Club of Silicon Valley Passport.
We have changed 132 lives by providing hearing aid instruments. They are distributed after proper checking by technicians and with necessary instructions.
Rotarian S. Baalaaji District 2981 Governor, PDG Rotarian Dr. C. Gunasekaran, Assistant Governor, club President and other officials took part and distributed the hearing aids.

2022 ROTARY INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL CONVENTION - HOUSTON
President Krishna and Bhaggi Emani attended the RI Convention in Houston. They enjoyed watching the Flag Ceremony, meeting other Rotarians from around the world, and hanging out with Ramesh Hariharan and Sobha Ramesh at the House of Friendship.
